Gonna Learn To Fly, Again! Fame Sequel Gets Recording

It’s gonna live forever! Fame Forever – Talent Springs Eternal, a sequel to the musical Fame, now has a recording available for digital download at FameNetwork. The follow-up musical features music by Steve Margoshes, book and lyrics by Ben H. Winters and orchestrations by Danny Troob and Margoshes.

Fame Forever was conceived by David De Silva, who also produced the 1980 film, Fame and subsequent stage musical. According to Music Theatre International, the sequel is set between 2004 and 2014. It’s 20 years since the original characters graduated from high school and they are now all grown up with children of their own. Their 20th Reunion unites them and shows that talent is reborn in the young.

The demo-recording cast includes Justin Keyes, Emily Keyes, Annie Golden, Sara Schmidt, Jared Joseph, Caesar Samayoa, Regina Le Vert, David Perlman, Amy Decker, Gabrielle Ruiz, Britney Coleman, Nicholas Rodriguez and Marshal Carolan.
